The land of the municipality of Tondela presents a diversity of landscapes in which the enchantments of the Serra do Caramulo, the plateau area of the Besteiros Valley, the immense forest spaces, rivers and river beaches are combined. In Tondela the visitor will enjoy, among other things, the primitive core of the city, monument to the dead of the Great War, the Fountain of the Mermaid, the Church of Our Lady of the countryside and the mother church of Santa Maria, the manor of Santa Ana.

In Caramulo you will not leave, certainly to visit the Museum of the Automobile and the Museum of Art-where you can contemplate painting, pottery and tapestries of the 16th-18th centuries, as well as important works of contemporary art, notably the authorship of Salvador Dali, Vieira da Silva and Picasso. Still in Caramulo, you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape-Cabeço of the snow and Caramulinho-and of typical granite houses such as those that you can find on the way to S. In several localities you will find interesting churches and many different architectural styles and you can also enjoy: paintings, in the churches of Mouraz, Tonda, Vila Nova do Rainha, monastery of Fráguas and village of Vilar; The processional Cross of the parish church of S. João do Monte; The magnificent gold-plated custody of the churches of Tondela, S. Miguel do hillock, canes of Santa Maria and Guardo.
